Michael Newton's legacy after 2016

Michael Newton's work did not end with his books. After his death, the language of Life Between Lives continued through readers, practitioner communities, training discussions and independent regression practices around the world.

What continued after Newton

The books

Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls remain the main entry points for readers who want to understand Newton's vocabulary and case-study format.

The session model

Practitioners continued to discuss preparation, induction, between-lives imagery, integration and the limits of what a session can responsibly claim.

The questions

Readers still use Newton's framework to explore meaning, relationships, purpose and grief, while treating the material as subjective spiritual experience.

Institutes, trademarks and independent practice

The Michael Newton Institute is the organization most closely associated with the formal Life Between Lives tradition and with the terms "Life Between Lives" and "LBL". Those names are important because many readers use them to identify the historical method connected with Newton's publications.

At the same time, the wider field is not limited to one organizational path. Some practitioners work through formal LBL training, some combine regression with other therapeutic or spiritual-hypnosis backgrounds, and some describe their work more generally as regression between lives. A listing or article should therefore be read as informational, not as proof of endorsement, certification or suitability for a specific person.

How to read this legacy responsibly

Newton's work is influential, but it is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric or psychological care. A careful reader should separate three things: the historical author, the trademarked method language, and the practical choice of a practitioner. Before any session, ask about training, language, boundaries, recording, contraindications and post-session integration.
